CONSTRUCTION WORK: Based in the Hudson Valley, Fora Construction was a queer and trans-centered general contracting, design and fabrication LLC that ran from 2023-2025. Fora was an exercise in prioritizing construction for queer/trans life, as well as an attempt to center the uniquely individual needs of queer, trans and immigrant workers in the trades while supporting their work. In addition to a new commercial kitchen and dining space for a 🔗 queer, trans, Filipino-owned restaurant, Fora helped make updates to a newly-reopened 🔗 beloved local skate rink, and renovated several homes for local queer artists.
